Outreach is an important community service we provide at RLCB. Company representatives speak at various community events or make presentations to seniors groups or clubs throughout the Triangle and much of North Carolina, and many times nationwide.

A member of our staff will come to your organization, home, or community venue, free of charge, and explain the services and employment opportunities offered by RLCB. We demonstrate how our agency can help you, a friend, co-worker or family member with the challenges you may be facing due to vision loss. It is RLCB’s mission to empower people who are blind and visually impaired through employment opportunities and services to achieve social and economic equality.

RLCB also runs a support group, so you can meet and talk to people in a similar situation, learn from each other and share stories and experiences. Support groups like these can make the learning experience much more indepth, as you'll be learning from each other, which will give you lots of points of view and offer different ways of looking at particular problems. For more information please give us a call!

Here at RLCB, we offer a wide range of 1 on 1 training services to people who are blind or have visual impairment, including computer training, iphone training and developing independent living skills.
